For those of you who
don’t know, to double-dip is putting a just used wax stick right back into the
wax pot. Keep in mind that stick was just applied to the skin on your face or
even “down there” before it was re-dipped, not to mention the re-dipping of
previous client’s sticks! This is hardly a sanitary practice, despite the
popularity of it, and the highly touted myth that “the heat of the wax kills the
bacteria” can be easily refuted. We always practice sanitary procedures by
dipping new sticks into the wax pot and throwing each stick away after it
touches your skin.
We offer all types of body waxing from Brows to
Brazilians! We also have a full men’s menu of waxing services! Located inside
Pure Pilates, we are an appointment only studio so that we offer each client the
privacy they desire during their waxing experience with Carolyn, our licensed
Aesthetician.
